Accessibility
Statement
We build this site so that people using a screen reader, a keyboard alone, or a magnified display can get the same information as anyone else. This page says what we do, what standard we work to, and how to tell us when we get it wrong.
Everyone gets the same information,
whatever they are reading it with.
Bahl Fireproofing is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, voice control, or at a magnified zoom level. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, at Level AA.
We are not going to claim the site is perfect. Nobody honest does. What we will say is that accessibility is part of how the site is built and maintained rather than something bolted on afterward, and that when a problem is reported we treat it as a defect to fix, not a request to consider.
What that means in practice
These are the specific things we check, on every page and every template.
Body text, headings and interface text are checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimums on the dark background this site uses, including link text and the text sitting over photographs.
Every link, button, form field and accordion can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in an order that follows the page. Focus is visible wherever it lands.
One H1 per page and headings in a real order, so a screen reader can move through a page by heading rather than reading it end to end.
Links and buttons say what they do rather than "click here" or "read more". Where a control needs more context than its visible text, it carries an accessible label.
Photographs that carry meaning have alternative text describing what they show. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology instead of being announced as noise.
Pages reflow down to 320 pixels without a horizontal scroll, and text can be zoomed without content being cut off or overlapping.
The background movement and cursor effects on this site respect the reduce motion setting in your operating system, and switch off when you have asked for less animation.
The bid request form labels every field, keeps the label attached to its input, and reports errors in text rather than by color alone.
If something here does not work for you
Tell us the page you were on and what happened. A sentence is enough. You do not need to know the technical reason, and you do not need to use any particular words for it.
If the fix is going to take longer than a few days, we will tell you that, and we will get you the information you were after in the meantime by phone or email.
This statement applies to bahlfireproofing.com. It was last reviewed on 5 September 2026. Third-party content embedded in this site, including the bid request form and any mapping, is covered by the accessibility practices of the provider that supplies it, and we will help you work around anything in those that gets in your way.
Or just send us the drawings
Call, email, or send the drawings through the form. All three land in the same place, and Ross reads them.
